Happie Hoffman
Friday, August 22 at Mishkon Tephilo

Kabbalat Shabbat services with Happie Hoffman have quickly become a cherished Mishkon event. A gifted singer-songwriter with operatic training, Happie has earned both national and international recognition for her joyful, soul-stirring Jewish music.

Family Shabbat  4:15 - 5 p.m.
Kabbalat Shabbat Services and Dinner  6 - 8 p.m.

We’re thrilled that Happie will pause her world travels to return to Mishkon and join Rabbi Joshua Katzan for one final spirit-filled Kabbalat Shabbat services this year.

These musical services are free and open to all.

Afterward, there will be a community Shabbat dinner. Registration for the dinner has ended.

"Music became a spiritual outlet, and there’s very little distinction emotionally [between] singing psalms from the Jewish texts or singing songs that I wrote. The intention and meaning of course is very different, but it always feels like a prayer from the heart." - Happie Hoffman
