Tu B'Shvat
Tu B'Shvat at Mishkon
Judaism celebrates our intimate connection with nature, and Mishkon is delighted to welcome you as we explore this relationship.
Join us for a delicious Tu B’shvat Seder, an ancient ritual of eating, drinking, singing, and exploring how our connection to nature affects us physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.
Rabbi Katzan will lead us with questions, short teachings, songs, and ways to encounter the mystery of creation. We will have something for everyone, so please come to celebrate alone, as a family, with friends, and with anyone who would like to experience a deeper connection to the world.
Mishkon will be celebrating Tu B'Shvat with a walking tour through the Westwood Neighborhood Greenway. The Westwood Greenway cleans water while providing a native habitat for birds, butterflies, and other animals. We will learn about the history of the site and discuss what we can do now to help make our city a better place for animals and people.
