Rena Panush's "Candy Meat" Recipe
 
In the days when I made brisket, this was a favorite. The kids called it "candy meat."
 
Directions

Pour liquid smoke over the brisket. Season with pepper. Roast brisket in 250 degree oven for 5 hours. Cool and slice. Then pour Bar B Q sauce over the slices, and bake covered at 350 degrees for approximately one hour. Uncover maybe the last 20 minutes.
