Spruce Up Mishkon!

Elaine Haber and Andy Bender are seeking volunteers interested in sprucing up Mishkon for the High Holy Days. 
 
Join them this Sunday, September 14 anytime between 1:00 and 3:30 p.m. to help our beloved building look its best for visitors and prospective members.
 
Tasks to be tackled: 
 
  • Clean and organize bookshelves in the lobby and sanctuary
  • Move books from sanctuary cart to lobby bookshelves
  • Box up books we no longer use
  • Move scholarly books to the library
  • Lobby: remove old fliers, hang colorful art
  • Remove tallitot and kippot that are in poor condition.
  • Beautify water fountain with hanging succulent plant
  • Transfer hand sanitizer into small, decorative bottles
  • Straighten up coffee table/water cooler station in sanctuary
  • Wash flagpoles and take flags to dry cleaner
