The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Westside Coalition presents the 40th Annual celebration of Dr. King and his legacy on January 20, 2024 at John Adams Middle School, 2425 16th St Santa Monica, CA 90405. The theme for 2025 is “Celebrating Women of the Civil Rights Movembet: Let's Make Real the Promise of Liberty and Justice for All." The keynote speech will be given by Sonya Young Aadam, CEO of California Black Women's Health Project.

The Community Involvement Fair will follow at 12:30 p.m. immediately after the main celebration. The fair will give our larger Santa Monica and Venice community the opportunity to meet us, meet with representatives from a variety of other local nonprofit organizations, and enjoy light refreshments.
