JEWISH ROOTS PROJECT
Ages: TK - Kindergarten
Duration: September 2025 - June 2026 Click here for full calendar
JRP (Jewish Roots Project) is a weekly, drop-off after-school program for children ages 4-6 (TK through 1st grade) that nurtures connection, creativity, and community through fun and relatable exploration of Jewish culture. It's also a great way to stay connected to your Mishkon preschool friends after you graduate, and make new ones along the way!
Each Wednesday afternoon, kids will learn a mini lesson from Rabbi Joshua Katzan (that will surely include some music!), followed by alternating creative workshops. Every week, they’ll engage in either process art (led by Rachel Woodbridge from ARTWELL) or hands-on cooking (led by Shiri Sassoon). They’ll be fully immersed in modern Jewish culture, singing songs, tasting traditional cuisine, creating meaningful art, and strengthening their connections to their roots.
