LOCATION AND PARKING

OUR LOCATION

Nicknamed “the synagogue by the sea,” Mishkon is blessed with a prime location on Los Angeles’s Westside, steps from the Pacific Ocean and on the border of Santa Monica (to the north) and Venice (to the south). Our lively, walkable Main Street neighborhood is home to many restaurants, coffee shops, night spots, and boutiques.

We have two entrances:

Sanctuary and Social Hall: 206 Main Street, Venice, CA 90291 (at the end of Navy Street)

Schools and Administrative Offices: 201 Hampton Drive, Venice, CA 90291

Our cross streets are Marine Street and Rose Avenue, and the sanctuary entrance faces the beach.
Our mailing address is 201 Hampton Drive, Venice, CA 90291
Please note: Hampton Drive changes its name to 2nd Street once you enter Santa Monica.

PARKING

Typical of its 1940s building, Mishkon does not have its own parking lot. However, for most services and events, there is adequate free or metered street parking in the neighborhood. If you cannot find parking on adjacent streets, we suggest trying side streets, including Marine Street and 3rd Street. Please read street parking signs carefully.

Two nearby public lots offer guarded, indoor parking:

Renaissance (Clown) Building Parking
Enter on Navy Street (west of Main Street)
$1.50 every 20 minutes, $12 maximum

3110 S Main St Plaza
Enter on Marine Street (west of Main Street)
$2 every 20 minutes, $12 maximum

There is an outdoor parking lot across Hampton Drive. Enter at 268 Marine Street (between 2nd Street and 3rd Street), and pay posted rates (up to $8).

There is also an open-air, beachfront parking lot operated by the L.A. County Department of Beaches and Harbors
300 Ocean Front Walk (at the end of Rose Avenue)
Rates vary seasonally.

Sorry, we do not provide parking validation.
