The Whole Megillah!

Join us on Zoom for a joyous reading of the story, followed by some intoxicatingly funny ways to hear the story told through song and humor. We will be reading of the ganze megillah, the whole megillah, followed by presentations from community members of Purim-inspired Torah, music, and storytelling.  One of the mitzvot of Purim is to hear the story of Esther, where we witness the clash between the forces of Light and Darkness, between Esther and Haman (think Princess Leia vs. Darth Vader). Spoiler alert: everything gets turned inside out. To celebrate the joyous turn of events, we have a tradition of wearing masks, and getting intoxicated with the mystery of how fortunes can flip.
