Torah Tuesday with Rabbi Josh Katzan

Tuesday Evenings at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom 

Join us for an open reading of the Parsha of the Week, the weekly Torah portion. Knowledge and experience with the Torah are welcome but not necessary. We will read the text with translation and Hebrew, exploring together its various potential meanings, allowing the Torah to act as a “spiritual mirror,” reflecting back to us our more subtle questions and insights.

Jewish Meditation and Contemplative Study

Thursday Evenings at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom

Join Rabbi Josh Katzan to learn and practice an ancient Jewish meditation, followed by contemplative study of teachings by the legendary Hassidic master, Rebbe Nachman of Bratslov. We will begin the course learning a particular Jewish meditation practice, and then include an open-minded/mind-opening study of Rebbe Nachman.

Realize Paradise: Shabbat Soul Journey

Gather together with Rachel Kann for an uplifting departure from a traditional Shabbat service. Realize Paradise Shabbat Soul Journey is taking flight! Life is changing quickly and we are riding the waves of change as they roll in. Rachel has never brought a Shabbat service online before, but new realities call for new approaches. Songs for the Jewish Soul

The First Sunday of the Month at 11:00 a.m. via Zoom

Join us on Zoom for a free musical program with Jeffrey Prince. It’s a concert! It’s a sing along! It’s BOTH! (And it’s great fun!). Generously sponsored by Mishkon Tephilo’s Adult Education Program, Jeffrey Prince will host a program, Songs for the Jewish Soul and you’re invited to listen, watch and sing! He’ll share and teach his wonderful mix of traditional and contemporary tunes for all of us to enjoy and sing along with. You’ll leave this one humming and smiling. The class is free, but donations are welcome here.
